Baby Organics

It took Until Kara for my dream of natural nurseries to become a reality.  In 2001, our newborn son was sensitive to many of the chemicals we are exposed to everyday.  It was then that I discovered organics and created a natural nursery for him.  I had created what I felt was a nurturing natural environment.  I continued to research and find chemical free alternatives for subsequent children and our home.  I found that organic cotton doesn’t only compliment the natural lifestyle but is luxurious.   In August 2006, I felt the need to share my findings with others.  Since I had always been intrigued by natural alternatives, I decided that it was time to start my company.  I began to search for organic textiles to design my signature line.  I then transformed a simple blanket that I had been making for years into an organic one.  It became a company with no name.  After a few weeks I started to discuss company names with my seven- year-old daughter Hailey.  One night she walked up to me and said, “Mom it took until Kara for you to start this company”.   I knew instantly that we had our name.  Kara is our youngest child and it took Until Kara for this dream company to become a reality.  Until Kara’s hope is to bring organic style to your nursery.
